Praveen Purohit

Praveen Purohit is a passionate nature and wildlife photographer specialising in the Himalayan region of Uttarakhand, India. An engineer by profession, he quit his job to embark on a journey to discover the Himalayas first-hand. Madly in love with the culture and beauty of these mountains, he treks to the remotest corners of the Himalayas, staying for days in remote villages and tents in the wilderness to make his images. He has been published in the Nature’s Best Photography magazine and he also conducts photography workshops and expeditions exclusively in the Himalayas.
