Nishma Dahal

Nishma is from the eastern Himalayan state of India, Sikkim. Having spent her childhood in the beautiful hills of West Sikkim, her love for the mountains has only grown over time. She is fascinated by the dynamic history of the Himalaya. Her research interest lies in understanding how species evolve in such a dynamic, climatically unstable landscape. She has travelled across the Indian and Nepal Himalaya studying pikas to understand their diversity and distribution.
