N Lakshminarayanan

Currently working as a Project Associate in the department of Endangered Species Management at the Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Dehradun, Lakshminarayan's assignment entails research on elephants. His previous work includes a stint at Foundation for Ecological Research, Advocacy and Learning (FERAL) as a Senior Research Fellow, where he worked on elephants in the Eastern Ghats landscape of south India; and Wildlife Conservation Society - India Program (WCS-India) as Research Assistant in the Western Ghats. He is an alumnus of a joint post graduation program of WCS-India and National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS), Bangalore. His interests centre broadly around research and conservation management of elephants.
