Meena Venkataraman

Meena Venkataraman is a wildlife biologist who has been researching the Asiatic lion for over 15 years. She completed her post-graduation from Pondicherry University and PhD from the Wildlife Institute of India. She has published several scientific and popular articles on lions and other mammals she has studied. Her work has been featured in documentaries, newspapers and magazines. Currently, she runs her consultancy organisation, Carnivore Conservation & Research (CCR) from Mumbai.
